Lockheed Martin’s Sikorsky subsystem engineering team is looking for a full‑time Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to support R&M activities across various aircraft programs.
Responsibilities- Perform reliability and maintainability analysis, support development of related deliverables for the H‑60 and Advanced Design/Concept programs, including R&M predictions, fleet data analysis, FMECA, FTA, failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS).
- Support development of H‑60 Program production or modification proposals or other development and production programs, including technical and cost volumes and supporting technical analyses.
- Support regular EVMS reporting and schedule management.
- Provide R&M engineering design and failure analysis support to assigned IPTs and suppliers.
- Lead or support functional and digital transformation projects or represent R&M in larger transformation initiatives.
- Support tools, methods, and database integration projects across specialty engineering within RMS.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited college and 3‑5 years of related experience, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Experience with reliability analysis, statistics, quality assurance, data analytics, data engineering, data visualization, or application development.
Desired
Skills:
- Advanced degree in engineering, statistics/applied math, computer science, or data science/engineering.
- Background in statistical analysis methods and tools such as Weibull analysis, DOE, JMP, Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Experience in database management, application/user interface development, artificial intelligence/machine learning methods, and data visualization applications.
- Experience performing R&M predictions, failure analysis, and FMECA or similar.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations to peers and management.
- Engineering background with solid electrical/mechanical understanding; hands‑on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance (desirable, not required).
Security Clearance: Desired, but not required.
