THE WORK
Sikorsky is seeking to hire a full time Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to support R&M activities for various Aircraft programs across the company.
In this role, you will:- Perform R&M predictions and fleet data analysis, Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Trees Analysis (FTA), failure analysis, and corrective action (FRACAS).
- Develop, conduct, and coordinate R&M plans and procedures to include conducting technical studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts.
- Propose changes in design or formulation to improve R&M performance.
- Support design reviews and test activities as required.
- Support proposal writing activities.
We are seeking individuals who understand how the many different pieces of a system work together. Our products involve hundreds of people, processes, and systems, and you’ll need to figure out how the ones that are relevant to your analysis fit together.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience with aviation (helicopter or fixed wing) or ground-based vehicle systems design, integration and test. Also acceptable is experience in System Engineering, Attributes, Safety/Specialty Engineering or Test Engineering.
- Experience with Reliability Analysis, Statistics or Data Analytics/Data Engineering.
- Degree in an engineering, statistics/applied math, or data science/engineering- focused discipline
- Experience performing R&M predictions, Failure analysis experience (FRACAS) and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) or similar.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations to peers as well as management
- Experience with PTC Windchill WQS or Reliasoft analysis tools a plus
- Experience with statistical concepts and analysis
- Engineering background with good electrical / mechanical understanding; practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting
- Aviation maintenance (civil/military) or operations experience a plus
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance is desired, but not required.

Ability to Work RemotelyPart-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
