THE WORK

Dynamic Components Quality seeks a highly motivated individual for a position reporting to the Dynamics Quality Manager in the RMS Sikorsky line of business. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Dynamics Inspection Team specifically around the CH-53K program. You will work individually and collaboratively with inspection leadership, manufacturing, and engineering teams to remove barriers and improve inspection processes to keep parts moving and meet increased throughput demands.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Initiate, review, analyze and report on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyze data using statistical techniques.

* Interface as needed with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives.

* Help drive process improvements and cost savings utilizing a continuous improvement mentality.

* Liaison with design engineering regarding CH-53K drawing interpretation and other inquiries from inspectors and function as the Quality POC for any resulting Engineering Changes.

* Utilize lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement

* Support the execution and achievement of all applicable Lockheed Martin, RMS and RMS Sikorsky business objectives.

Candidates for this position should possess strong product and process knowledge, excellent technical skills, adept with desktop PC applications and information systems, and communication and presentation skills.

Basic Qualifications:

* Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.

* Knowledge of MS office products (Word, Excel, and Power Point

* Flexibility/Adaptability

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Desired

Skills:

* Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Prefer experience with Sikorsky helicopter and/or aerospace products in a production/manufacturing environment

* Knowledge of Sikorsky processes and procedures related to aircraft production (e.g. Non-conforming material management, etc.).

* Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and drive change.

* Experience in the field of production quality assurance.

* Ability to work multiple tasks in multiple process areas simultaneously

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
