JOB TITLE:
Instrumentation Engineer
LOCATION:
Stratford, CT
PAY RATE: $20-68/hour
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Perform strain gage installations on metal and composite aircraft components
.Complete surface preparation, layout, alignment, bonding, and measurement
.Perform Wheatstone Bridge wiring to measure:
Torque
Axial Load
Bending
Shear strain
Support instrumentation wiring, measurement systems, and documentation
.
Equivalent of High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years of engineering college or technical school
.5+ years of strain gage installation experience
.Strong knowledge of Wheatstone Bridge wiring methodology
.Experience with
instrumentation systems, strain gage bonding, and measurement systems
.Ability to work with metal and composite materials
.Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Experience with
Micro-Measurements techniques and procedures
.Aerospace or flight/ground test experience preferred.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
