Position: MCS Sustainment Program Finance Staff

Position Overview

This role leads various program finance activities in support of the MCS 53K Sustainment business needs. The position provides an opportunity to gain knowledge of the USG sustainment business while interfacing daily with management.

Responsibilities

Assist with consolidation of all aspects of program finance, including planning and forecasting (e.g., monthly Latest Estimates, annual plan, and Long Range Plan) for 53K Sustainment programs.

Interface with the Program Management team (53K Spares and O&R) to ensure the latest financial estimates, risks, and opportunities are accurate and reported promptly.

Perform month‑end close activities, variance analysis, and account reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts related to assigned programs.

Provide periodic reporting to ensure adequate funding levels from the customer to continue contract work.

Review and maintain WBS set‑up, ensuring daily and weekly oversight to support program needs.

Provide estimating, pricing, and negotiation support for fleet management contracts and campaigns.

Support monthly balance sheet balances and related reserves in collaboration with the Program Management team.

Support government accounting and pricing departments for customer requests (e.g., RFIs).

Update the EAC (Estimate at Completion) model quarterly for assigned programs, leading analysis and retroactive adjustment calculations when necessary.

Develop and maintain standard work instructions related to this role.

Support additional financial requirements as deemed necessary by the USG CFO and the MCS Sustainment Program Finance Manager.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 6+ years of accounting or finance experience in progressively responsible positions.
Experience with SAP, Hyperion, and the Microsoft Office suite.

Onsite, full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

4 x 10‑hour days, 3 days off per week.
