Overview

As the IT Support Technician, you’ll provide first‑line technical support to internal and external users across multiple business lines and office locations. You’ll troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues, deliver dependable customer service, and maintain clear documentation within our support systems. This is a hands‑on role within a small team and begins as a part‑time position with potential to transition to full‑time.

Occasional travel (approximately 10%) is required.

What You’ll Do
  • Respond promptly to help desk tickets, phone calls, and emails.
  • Troubleshoot common IT issues, including:
    • Password resets and account access
    • Printer setup and connectivity
    • Application errors and software usage
    • Perform basic hardware diagnostics and repairs (desktops, laptops, peripherals).
    • Assist with basic networking tasks such as connectivity checks and cable management.
    • Document all support activities within the ticketing system.
    • Provide on‑site support at external locations when required.
    • Apply and uphold information security best practices.
  • Work a part‑time schedule of 3 days per week, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with the potential to transition to full‑time based on business needs.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years of Help Desk or Technical Support experience.
  • Strong understanding of IT fundamentals and troubleshooting methods.
  • Familiarity with desktop support in a Windows environment.
  • Basic knowledge of networking (IP addressing, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
