The System Analyst II for the ITSM team will serve as a Service Now Administrator/Developer that designs and builds scalable digital workflows on the Now Platform translating business needs into secure, efficient solutions. The analyst will develop custom applications and integrations, optimize performance, and ensure the platform aligns with organizational strategy while driving continuous improvement and automation. Prior Service Now development and CMDB experience is required.

The analyst researches, analyzes, and supports the application(s), related hardware, and how the broader ITS Systems will fit the needs of the Health System and/or specific department needs. The analyst serves as the primary contact and expert for the application and related IT systems, working with department management and teams to build, install, and support the applications and understand systems requirements.

Primary responsibilities include analyzing workflows and understanding policies, procedures and constraints of the clinical or business operations. The analyst coordinates all issues that arise during the project, provides precise investigation and documentation of operational specifications, and ensures application functionality, recommends opportunities for technological and workflow improvement, supports implementation of new projects and upgrades, and troubleshoots problems and questions from end‑users during training, go‑live and post go‑live periods.

Attention to detail is a critical skill for this position. Successful candidates have an interest in emerging technologies and enjoy working with people to identify how technology can effectively support business needs.

Responsibilities
  • 1. Application and IT System Implementation and Support
    • 1.1 Supports the implementation and maintenance of applications, related IT systems, and hardware including analysis, planning and preparation.
  • 2. Teamwork
    • 2.1 Creates and maintains regular status reports to Manager.
  • 3. Documentation
    • 3.1 Documents and maintains all required system design and build documents and configures system accordingly.
  • 4. Other
    • 4.1 Provides training to other IT staff and user clients as appropriate.
Qualifications

Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in Healthcare and/or technology strongly preferred. A minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience as a Systems Analyst is required. Ability to analyze workflow to recommend and develop application solutions. Ability to research and interpret data, preparing and presenting data. Healthcare or Epic experience preferred.
