Job Overview
At Lockheed Martin - Rotary Mission Systems, we are leading the development of state‑of‑the‑art technologies that are integral to national security and defense. We are focused on integrating cutting‑edge cybersecurity measures to ensure resilience and security of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Cybersecurity Design & Implementation:
Support the decomposition of Statements of Work (SOW) into actionable cybersecurity solutions. Design and oversee the implementation of critical cybersecurity capabilities. - Collaboration & Strategy Development:
Work with internal and external teams to enhance cyber résiliency across a portfolio of Owego programs. - Cybersecurity Leadership:
Lead the effort to streamline the RMF process and accelerate Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals. - Security Lifecycle Oversight:
Oversee the development of cybersecurity artifacts, ensuring compliance with NIST 800‑53 and achieving/maintaining ATO for systems and technologies.
- 9+ years of equivalent experience.
- Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience with security architecture design, security audit tools, security requirements generation, and security testing.
- Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 / 8140 certification required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level.
- Willingness to travel up to 10 %.
- Engineering bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience.
- Experience using Security Center/ACAS – Assured Compliance Assessment Solution.
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, Power Shell).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with RTCA DO‑356.
- Experience navigating and securing Linux and Windows.
- Ability to analyze security reports and mitigate vulnerabilities.
This position requires a U.S. Citizen with a government security clearance at the Secret level.
Work Arrangement- Part‑time Remote Telework: remote portion of schedule and subsequent onsite at Lockheed Martin facility.
- Work schedule:
4×10‑hour day, 3 days off per week.
