Overview
At Lockheed Martin – Rotary Mission Systems, we lead the development of advanced technologies integral to national security and defense. We embed cutting‑edge cybersecurity features to enhance operational effectiveness and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Support the decomposition of Statements of Work (SOW) into actionable cybersecurity solutions and design critical cybersecurity capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to enhance cyber resiliency across a portfolio of Owego programs.
- Lead the effort to streamline the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and accelerate Authority To Operate (ATO) approvals.
- Oversee the development of cybersecurity artifacts, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NIST 800‑53, and maintain ATO for systems and technologies.
- Maintain a DoD SECRET level clearance.
- 9+ years of equivalent experience.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Experience with security architecture design, security audit tools, security requirements generation, security testing.
- Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 / 8140 certification required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level.
- Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
- Engineering bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience.
- Experience using Security Center/ACAS – Assured Compliance Assessment Solution.
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, Power Shell).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with RTCA DO‑356.
- Experience navigating and securing Linux and Windows.
- Ability to analyze security reports and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
This position requires a government security clearance; applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
