As a Cyber Systems Security Engineer Sr, you will support the integration of modern cybersecurity solutions across multiple Owego programs and play a critical role in ensuring our systems are resilient against evolving threats.

• Support the decomposition of Statements of Work (SOW) into actionable cybersecurity solutions and design and oversee their implementation.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to enhance cyber resiliency across a portfolio of Owego programs.
• Lead efforts to streamline the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and accelerate Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals.
• Oversee the development of cybersecurity artifacts, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NIST 800‑53, and lead efforts to achieve and maintain ATO for systems and technologies.

• 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 / 8140 certification required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the Secret level.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

• Engineering bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience.
• Experience using Security Center/ACAS – Assured Compliance Assessment Solution.
• Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and Power Shell.
• Experience navigating and securing Linux and Windows environments.
• Ability to analyze security reports and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance.
