Your expertise in supply chain management will ensure the seamless acquisition of critical composite materials, directly supporting the readiness and mission success of Rotary product centers.
The Work
Manage a buyer's desk focused on purchase activities and on-time delivery of frozen composite raw materials in support of Rotary product centers. This position allows telework greater than or equal to up to 50%. You may be required to work onsite up to two days a week in Stratford, CT to better support these operations.
- Serve as the primary interface with internal customers & stakeholders and with external subcontractors & suppliers.
- Report status and performance metrics to product center management; ensure timely delivery and quality of services in support of program milestones.
- Engage with cross-functional teams, such as Program Management, Operations, Supplier Quality and Engineering to achieve business objectives.

Desired Skills
Knowledge and experience buying under the guidelines of the FAR/DFAR, LMAP, CAP or other acquisition policies and procedures. Exhibit strong problem-solving and communication skills. Prior experience in a related industry preferred. Experience with supply chain activities, to include procurement systems, production schedules and IPT structures. Critical thinker / Problem solver. Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment. Strong time management, organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.

Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
