Supply Chain Management Professional
At Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company, the Supply Management team is responsible for overseeing the critical supply-chain operations that deliver parts, assemblies, and systems for a wide range of U.S. Government, international, and commercial aircraft programs. We provide end-to-end program and operations support—managing sourcing, logistics, and subcontract administration—to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery while maintaining the rigorous quality and compliance standards required in the aerospace industry.
We are seeking an experienced supply-chain professional to own major subcontracts, drive supplier performance, and continuously improve our overall supply-chain effectiveness.
The Job
- Manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts that include COTS, performance-specification, and complex build-to-print parts.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams—engineering, program, finance, and quality—to align requirements, resolve issues, and drive successful contract outcomes.
- Exercise procurement delegation by authorizing supplier agreements and purchase orders within the authority limits established for the role.
- Develop and refine subcontract specifications, statements of work, and terms & conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services that support development, production, and global sustainment of Sikorsky aircraft programs.
- Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and create evaluation criteria; analyze proposals, negotiate price and contract terms, recommend subcontractors, and draft final award documents.
- Administer awarded subcontracts and oversee required change activity, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and internal policies while working closely with stakeholders to keep the supply chain on track.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- Microsoft Office Suite tools such as Word, Excel and Power Point
- 2+ years of professional work experience
Desired Skills
- Experience with supply chain management or buying or procurement or related field
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARS) or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of SAP
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $67400.00 - $125200.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
