Manufacturing Supervisor (Night Shift) - Stratford, CTAbout the Opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor to lead night shift cleanroom operations in Stratford, CT. This role plays a critical part in driving production performance, ensuring product quality, and supporting seamless transitions across testing, integration, and customer support functions.

What You'll Do

+ Build and manage detailed production schedules aligned with manufacturing plans and available resources

+ Drive output while optimizing cost, quickly resolving issues and implementing recovery plans when needed

+ Ensure timely delivery of all volume production commitments

+ Partner with Production Engineering to maintain and improve production equipment and processes

+ Coordinate support functions to enable on-time delivery and efficient ramp-up for both production and customer needs

+ Maintain strict quality standards, ensuring all products meet specifications through robust processes and team training

+ Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10-15 employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment

+ Manage staffing, hiring, performance evaluations, and ongoing employee development

+ Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure execution aligns with production goals

+ Uphold all safety, quality, HR, and ISO standards

+ Champion Lean Manufacturing principles including 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to improve efficiency and reduce waste

+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations

What You Bring

+ Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

+ Strong background in production operations, process improvement, and troubleshooting

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints

+ Experience managing teams and developing talent

+ Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and production reporting

+ Solid project management and organizational skills

Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of manufacturing/production experience in a technical environment

+ 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role with direct people management

+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred

+ Business or Engineering background is a plus

Work Environment & Schedule

+ Cleanroom manufacturing environment in Stratford, CT

+ Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

+ Rotating shifts covering weekdays and alternating Saturdays

+ Fast-paced, team-oriented setting focused on Lean principles and continuous improvement

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
