CNC Machinist
LOCATION: Stratford, CT
PAY RATE: $44.00–56.00 / hour
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?
Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Performs tool and die fabrication with minimum 8 years of experience.
Leads CNC mill and lathe cell operations with at least 5 years of experience.
Performs CNC set-up and programming using G-code, M-code, and CAM software (Mastercam or similar).
Reads advanced blueprints and interprets GD&T, working with 3D tool models.
Uses inspection tools to perform in-process quality control.
Machines steels, alloys, aluminums, titanium, super alloys, plastics, composites, and additive manufacturing parts.
Participates in ESH compliant programs and proactive hazard identification.
Trains junior machinists on setup, inspection, and best practice tooling techniques (desired).
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Minimum 8 years in tool and die fabrication.
Minimum 5 years leading CNC mill and lathe cell operations.
Proven proficiency with CNC set-up and programming (G-code, M-code).
Proven proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam or similar).
Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation.
Ability to work with 3D tool models.
Understanding of inspection tools for in-process quality control.
Experience machining steels, alloys, aluminums, titanium, super alloys, plastics, composites, and AM parts.
Desired:
Ability and willingness to train junior machinists on setup, inspection, and best practice tooling techniques.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
