The Harvest Technician supports post‑cultivation activities and operations within the cultivation department. This position is responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction while ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, dependable, and eager to learn. They take pride in handling cannabis plants with care and precision and are comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment where adaptability and teamwork are essential.

As a Cultivation Manufacturing Technician, you are a key part of the post‑harvest and manufacturing process. You support the preparation, processing, and packaging of cannabis products while maintaining quality, consistency, and compliance. Your goal is to ensure all products meet company standards and regulatory requirements while supporting efficient production workflows.
Essential Functions- Participate in the cannabis harvest process, including harvesting plants and preparing harvested material for processing
- Properly dry wet cannabis plants according to established procedures
- Sanitize flower rooms in preparation for future cultivation cycles
- Reload flower rooms and assist with cultivation turnover activities
- Handle materials and cannabis waste in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Accurately weigh and record post‑harvest materials
- Follow all SOPs, verbal directives, training information, and company policies when performing duties
- Complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly
- Maintain compliance with all state regulations and company requirements
- Perform record keeping accurately and completely as directed by supervisors
- Maintain awareness of workplace hazards and follow all safety protocols
- Retain and apply department‑specific training
- Report safety incidents, concerns, and quality issues promptly
- Comply with PPE requirements and area‑specific safety standards
- Follow GMP, sanitation, biosecurity, and quality control requirements
- Maintain and calibrate tools, equipment, and machinery as directed
- Escalate safety and quality concerns appropriately
- Regularly required to reach, grasp, bend, stoop, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods while maintaining focus
- Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to work in environments reaching 85°F+ temperatures and up to 70% humidity for extended periods
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing, and physically demanding environment
- Daily exposure to allergens, including cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications preferred
- Effective time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and operational needs - Prior cannabis industry experience is a plus but not required
