Assembly 2nd Shift

Job Overview

Assembly I operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
• Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
• Repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
• Maintain attention to detail and perform repetitive tasks consistently.
• Be cross‑trained and able to support all Assembly I roles.

• Essential Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures).
• Ability to use hand tools (hammer, wrench, level, etc.).
• Ability to follow blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry.

The position is based in a manufacturing facility. It may involve exposure to loud noises, varying temperatures, and dust from production processes. Employees frequently work near or with machinery with moving parts, following strict safety protocols. The facility operates on shift schedules with potential for overtime, including weekends, based on production needs.
