** THE WORK*
* As a Continuous Improvement Engineer in the Production Operations APEX office, you'll be a key catalyst for change, partnering with teams across Operations to identify and implement impactful business improvements
Your role will include:
Leading and supporting continuous improvement projects across all areas of Operations
Applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Industrial Engineering techniques to reduce waste and enhance processes
Serving as a business partner to Performance Management Teams PMTs , guiding them in problem solving, conflict resolution, and alignment with key performance goals
Defining project scopes, measuring ROI, facilitating cross functional collaboration, and tracking key metrics
Motivating and influencing cross functional teams to drive a culture of excellence
Supporting communication and change management strategies to ensure project success and long term sustainability
Participating in and sometimes leading special initiatives that require a strong foundation in project management and continuous improvement methodologies

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma preferably certified , and/or Industrial Engineering
Strong communication, facilitation, and team leadership skills
Proven project management experience with a track record of driving measurable results

A continuous improvement mindset with a desire to make a tangible impact across the business

* Basic Qualifications:
*
* 3 years of related experience and may have a post secondary degree or training in a related discipline
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
Prior work in a production environment
Demonstrates past experience in project management and leading teams
Prior experience developing project business cases

* Demonstrates ability to pull data from various sources, interpret, and develop actionable insights
Past experience collaborating cross functionally and working in a team environment
Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Competent in using Microsoft Office suite Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
Previous knowledge of LM APEX and initiatives and/or Sikorsky Production System
Experience working with a represented work force
Understanding of Cost Account Manager CAM principles and Earned Value Management EVM
Prior work experience in a continuous improvement role
