Setup Mechanic - 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled and safety-minded Machining & Assembly Equipment Technician to manage the set-up, operation, and maintenance of our specialized machinery. In this hands-on role, you will work directly on the plant floor to troubleshoot technical issues, maintain high tooling standards, and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Salary: $62,000 - $82,000 per year.

Shift: Second.

Work hours:

3:45 PM - 11:45 PM.

Education:

High School.

• Equipment Setup & Operation: Set up, calibrate, and operate a range of automatic assembly equipment, including Snow tapping machines, single spindles, and threading machines.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and correct machining issues promptly to ensure smooth production flow and minimize equipment downtime.
• Safety & Compliance Guarding: Install, maintain, and inspect all safety guarding and protective equipment across machinery to preserve a safe working environment.
• Tooling Quality Control: Closely monitor tooling wear and performance to keep repair costs to a minimum while maintaining strict quality and production standards.
• Active Physical Machinery Repair: Perform dynamic hands-on machine repairs across various department stations, requiring continuous mobility, bending, and twisting.
• On-Site Plant Operations: Execute daily tasks within a fast-paced, high-noise manufacturing facility, utilizing precise manual dexterity to handle tools, materials, and active machinery.
