Prometric, the global leader in technology‑enabled testing and assessment services, seeks experienced nurses with long‑term care experience to administer the Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) Exam. This role offers experienced RNs an opportunity to leverage their skills outside of the hospital setting by evaluating candidates pursuing their CNA certification. This position ensures the highest quality test experience in accordance with Prometric’s Vision, Mission, Values, and policies.

• Proctor a computerized knowledge‑based examination.
• Observe and score candidates demonstrating clinical skills.
• Deliver and secure test events.
• Prepare for events by monitoring rosters and ensuring the site is correctly set up and cleaned up.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Prometric policies and practices to control the test area.
• Verify examinee identification.
• Monitor candidates during the written exam and, if applicable, direct a proctor to administer the written portion.
• Manage the testing environment to ensure proper candidate flow.
• Observe and rate candidates during the practical exam.
• Resolve candidate issues or report them to the appropriate supervisor.
• Protect exam content by administering computer‑based testing.
• Reboot workstations and reset passwords as necessary.
• Deliver a seamless candidate experience.
• Report any occurrences that fall outside company guidelines to the appropriate supervisor.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with testing sites (regional or facility).
• Maintain an online appointment schedule to ensure event coverage.
• Provide on‑site leadership for candidates.
• Foster professional and courteous relationships with the Nurse Aide Evaluator community.
• Serve as a Prometric brand ambassador when interacting with candidates, site partners, and potential clients during test administrations.
• Administer up to three test days a week (average 8 hours per test day) at various locations within a 30‑mile radius of the employee’s zip code; exams also occur Monday through Friday with some Saturday and occasional Sunday examinations.
• Travel within a 30–45 mile radius of the employee’s zip code;
  Prometric reimburses mileage beyond 30 miles.

• Registered Nurse with an active and unrestricted license in the state of operation.
• BA/BS degree preferred.

• One (1) year of experience in long‑term care or with chronically ill patients of any age.
• Ideal to have staff development and/or training experience (preferred).

• Intermediate to advanced technical proficiency with computer programs and applications (including MS Office, Outlook, web browsing).
• Strong communication skills (oral and written).
• Access to personal computer equipment (personal computer/laptop, printer, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle to travel to test events.
• Proactive, flexible, amicable, and able to solve problems independently.

• Ability to travel 30 miles or more one way from zip code.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while administering the exam and evaluating candidates (up to approximately 8 hours per event).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (testing mannequin).
