THE WORK

The Sikorsky Quality Business Office is seeking a highly motivated individual for a position reporting to the Quality Business Manager in the RMS Sikorsky line of business. In this role you will be responsible for various core support tasks within the Quality function as we support and maintain an AS9100D compliant Quality Management System (QMS). You will work individually and collaboratively with Quality Management across the business and with other stakeholder functions to support and advance our Quality business processes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

* Initiate, review, analyze and report on quality-related data/metrics from production, service, supplier or process improvement activities and analyze data using statistical techniques

* Help drive process improvements and cost savings utilizing a continuous improvement mentality

* Utilize lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement in our quality business processes

* Help author and maintain command media related to our Quality Management System (QMS)

* Oversee administrative management of Stamp Control for the Sikorsky line of business

* Act as training administrator for Sikorsky Quality

* Support the execution and achievement of all applicable Lockheed Martin, RMS and RMS Sikorsky business objectives

Basic Qualifications:

* Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.

* Knowledge of MS office products (Word, Excel, and Power Point

* Flexibility/Adaptability

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in matrix team environment

Desired

Skills:

* Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Prefer experience with Sikorsky helicopter and/or aerospace products in a production/manufacturing environment

* Knowledge of Sikorsky processes and procedures related to aircraft production (e.g. Non-conforming material management, etc.).

* Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and drive change.

* Experience in the field of production quality assurance.

* Ability to work multiple tasks in multiple process areas simultaneously

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
