JOB TITLE:
Aircraft Electrical Technician
LOCATION:
Stratford, CT
PAY RATE: $30.00 – $40.00/hour
Job Details- Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

- Constructs wiring harnesses from electrical schematics.
- Routes wiring harnesses in large electronics racks and terminates to rear disconnect panels.
- Mounts items in racks using mechanical skills.
- Works from engineering drawings and electrical and electronic schematics to fabricate, install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
- Supports System Integration Laboratory test facilities.
- Fabricates wire harnesses, test boxes, and associated laboratory test equipment.
- Performs electronic and electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Performs mechanical and general fabrication tasks.
- Works with military wiring harnesses and connectors.
- Terminates military connectors and fabricates harnesses for laboratory test installations.
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
- Strong electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with electronic and electrical fabrication.
- Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical and general fabrication skills.
- Experience working with military wiring harnesses and connectors.
- Experience fabricating aircraft harnesses and installing in racks.
- Ability to fabricate, install, diagnose, and repair equipment and test installations.
- Ability to work from engineering drawings and electrical and electronic schematics.
- Ability to terminate military connectors and perform harness fabrication.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
