SummaryThis position requires someone with experience building aircraft wiring harnesses from electrical schematics, routing harnesses in large electronics racks, terminating to rear disconnect panels, and mounting items in racks. The technician performs duties in electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical domains, constructs and troubleshoots aircraft systems, works from schematics, engineering drawings, and instructions, performs checks, adjustments, modifications, replacements, and fabricates, installs, diagnoses, and repairs equipment and test installations in support of System Integration Laboratory test facilities.
The candidate must be able to fabricate wire harnesses, test boxes, and associated laboratory test equipment.
- Strong electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous experience with electronic and electrical fabrication.
- Previous experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical and general fabrication skills.
- Previous experience working with, fabricating, and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors.
