Work as an HVAC Installation Technician in Stratford, CT, serving Fairfield County.
Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including central air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, oil and gas furnaces, boilers, and geothermal systems.
Complete HVAC replacements, system changeouts, retrofits, and new equipment installations.
Fabricate, install, and seal ductwork, refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and venting.
Braze and solder piping and complete electrical connections according to manufacturer specifications.
Perform HVAC system startup, commissioning, refrigerant charging, and performance testing.
Ensure installations meet applicable local codes, safety requirements, and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and professional job site.
Provide excellent customer service and explain the operation of new HVAC systems to homeowners.

High school diploma and technical school education
2+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
Connecticut HVAC S1, S2, or D2 license preferred
EPA Universal certification preferred
Experience installing, replacing, and commissioning residential heating and cooling equipment
Working knowledge of HVAC installation practices, refrigerant systems, ductwork, brazing, electrical connections, and system startup
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and on ladders
Strong mechanical aptitude and dependable work habits
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Authorized to work in the United States
