Encon Heating & AC seeks a skilled Plumbing Mechanic to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on residential and light commercial projects. You'll diagnose leaks and piping issues, interpret blueprints, and ensure code-compliant installations that integrate with HVAC systems. Working in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment, you'll deliver high-quality workmanship and responsive customer service. Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for residential and light commercial projects
  • Diagnose leaks, clogs, and piping issues and recommend effective repair solutions
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to complete jobs accurately
  • Cut, assemble, and install pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures according to code
  • Test plumbing systems for proper operation, pressure, and safety compliance
  • Collaborate with HVAC and mechanical teams to integrate plumbing with heating and cooling systems
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time on each job
  • Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues, options, and maintenance tips
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards on jobsites and in customer homes
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with plumbing codes and energy-efficient solutions
