Our client is a construction company that focuses on outdoor recreation. They are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Associate who will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, including customer invoicing, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and month-end accounting activities. This individual will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the timely processing of accounting transactions.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong analytical skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

- Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and timely
- Monitor accounts receivable, apply customer payments, and assist with collections
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Reconcile company credit card transactions and employee expense reports
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare journal entries as assigned
- Review financial data for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding accounting matters
- Assist with vendor setup and maintenance
- Support audits by providing requested documentation
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
- Min. of 2-3 years of Accounting experience
- Required experience using Quick Books in a professional business environment
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data analysis
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team
- Full-time, in-office position
- Monday through Friday
