Speech Language Pathologist
:
Provide SLP therapy and related services while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients. Deliver quality patient care—including screening, evaluation, development of treatment plans, discharge planning, and case‑management responsibilities—according to Speech‑Language Pathology principles and Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Maintain professional conduct that reflects our commitment to quality and service.
- Optimize communication, cognitive‑linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills of patients by providing, directing, or overseeing speech therapy.
- Build a strong Speech‑Language Pathology (SLP) therapy program.
- Enhance clinical expertise, professional, and management skills through interaction with managers, therapists, and other professional staff, self‑study, and continuing education activities.
- Maintain a valid state license and stay aware of issues related to the profession and the healthcare environment.
- Understand various payment models related to billing and treatment guidelines and deliver quality care within those frameworks.
- Be compliant with infection‑control procedures and environmental safety protocols within a facility.
- Read, write, speak, and comprehend in English: instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, reports.
