Base pay range: $18.87/hr - $28.38/hr.
Responsibilities- Patient care. Work directly with patients to provide safe, comfortable, and high‑quality dialysis treatment. Responsibilities include gathering patient statistics before and after treatment, initiating treatment, monitoring patients during treatment, terminating treatment, and collecting patient blood samples per physician orders.
- Technician duties. Prepare machines for hemodialysis treatments, clean and disinfect machines after treatment, conduct machine safety checks and log results for quality control, ensuring all protocols and regulations are followed.
- Safety and quality. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, adhere to company policies, procedures, and state/federal laws and regulations, participate in staff meetings and continuing education offerings.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients.
- Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus.
- Must be comfortable mixing acids and bicarbonate according to protocol.
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency within 8 weeks of hire.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained through a state certification program or a nationally available certification program within 18 months of hire date and maintained in good standing thereafter.
