Role Overview

Full‑time Salesperson – Store #T078 (Streamwood). As a sales associate, you will create an exceptional patient experience, promote product knowledge, and support the practice’s financial goals.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greets all patients with a warm welcome and prioritizes service delivery.
  • Explores patient needs and links them to practice offerings, including eye exams.
  • Asks clarifying questions, consults with the optician, and demonstrates superior product knowledge.
  • Anticipates problems, explores underlying reasons, and develops long‑term solutions.
  • Multi‑tasks, prioritizes, and manages competing priorities efficiently.
  • Custom‑fits glasses and precisely places prescriptions in lenses.
  • Communicates delivery dates, seeks feedback, and asks for referrals.
  • Achieves sales targets (80‑100% of time on sales).
  • Operates the point‑of‑sale system accurately and completes sales transactions following operational standards.
  • Educates and celebrates products at pick‑up.
  • Maintains a clean, attractive, and organized practice appearance.
  • Reports safety opportunities to management.
  • Adheres to attendance, time‑keeping, and all company policies.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the Practice Manager.
Basic Qualifications
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service, sales, and math skills.
  • Basic communication and listening skills.
  • Familiarity with point‑of‑sale or patient record systems.
  • Embraces new technology and change.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Eyecare experience.
  • Sales experience.
Compensation & Benefits

Employee pay is determined by geography, experience, qualifications, and local minimum wage requirements. Compensation may include a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, alongside a comprehensive benefits package (health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts).
