Pelton Shepherd is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a Production Mechanic. This role is a key part of our manufacturing team, ensuring that all production machinery runs smoothly and efficiently.

$28.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Join our team as a Production Mechanic and keep our machines humming while contributing to a high‑energy production environment.

• Perform preventive maintenance, clean, lubricate, and service equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Diagnose and repair unexpected breakdowns quickly to keep production on track.
• Maintain shop areas, inventory parts, and keep tools and supplies ready for action.
• Collaborate with production planners, MRO managers, and technical experts to schedule maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and modify machinery for new products.
• Run test cycles, refine equipment, and work with product managers to perfect performance.
• Operate machinery when needed and help train others to keep the team strong.
• Record maintenance, repairs, and part replacements with clear, concise reports.
• Take on additional tasks to support our mission of unstoppable production.

• Experience:
  
  1‑2 years of hands‑on mechanical work.
• Education:
  
  Vocational or community college coursework in a related field is a bonus, but equivalent experience is just as good.

• Ready to stand, walk, and move for extended periods—our shop is your playground.
• Comfortable bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling to service machinery.
• Keen eyesight to inspect equipment like a hawk.
• Strong enough to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
