The Registered Nurse (R.N.) assesses, directs, delegates, coordinates and evaluates consumer care through collaborative efforts with health team members and in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The registered Nurse may serve as the administration’s designee in supervisory capacity. Coordination of all staff assignments ensures that all consumers will receive optimal care and that the unit duties are completed.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing is required, BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric/mental health field is required.
• Current RN license to practice by the Illinois State Board of Nursing is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy, discretion and excellent organizational skills.
