Overview

On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1950)  role includes guest interactions, checkout duties, and fulfillment responsibilities with a flexible, on-demand schedule. Starting hourly rate is $17.25 USD; pay range is $17.25–$25.90 USD per hour.

• Deliver the guest service experience by welcoming guests, assisting with needs, and solving issues at the point of contact.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized store environment; maintain knowledge of tools, products, and services to resolve guest needs.
• Promote and explain Target Loyalty programs, fulfillment services, and app features (Wallet, Target App).
• Handle returns by following register prompts and partnering with leaders to resolve guest concerns while adhering to Target policies.
• Partner with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience as needed.
• Support orders and pickup services (OPU, Drive Up, Registry) and maintain compliance with applicable laws.
• Assist with cash handling and cash office processes as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report hazards; comply with safety policies and training.
• Other duties based on business needs.

• Flexibility to work varying hours, days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Strong communication skills, a helpful attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.

• Effective communication, problem solving, and guest engagement; ability to educate guests about products and services.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; comfortable using multiple devices and systems.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
