Retail Assistant Store Manager

Overview

Retail Assistant Store Manager at Ollie s Bargain Outlet, Inc. Responsible for leading the front-end operation, developing associates, delivering customer service, protecting assets, and maintaining store standards.

• Assist the Store Team Leader with payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely reporting to meet financial and operational goals.
• Demonstrate Ollie s core values in associate and customer service experiences; ensure standards are met in interactions.
• Maintain store standards and company programs to meet operational expectations.
• Ensure front-end, entrance, and exterior areas are maintained properly.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity of associates.
• Perform Team Leader functions to open and close the store when needed.
• Assist with hiring, recruiting, interviewing, selection, and onboarding to meet staffing needs.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday seasonal shifts.
• Valid Driver’s license.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.
