Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1950)  Starting Hourly Rate is $17.25 USD per hour. The Pay Range is $17.25 USD - $25.90 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and communicate current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Promote loyalty programs and assist with applications or sign-ups as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain features and offerings within the Target App (including Wallet) and guide guests on Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Handle returns following policy and escalate to Leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; report hazards and take corrective action where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pick up and Drive Up/Returns, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times).
• Effective communication, positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to educate guests about products and services.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology, work independently or with a team, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.

• Accurate checkout operations, including cash handling as needed.
• Safe handling and movement of merchandise, including lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance.
• Flexible schedule and reliable attendance; mobility during shifts.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions related to store operations.
