Vactor Mfg - Sourcing Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• Perform critical activities within site ECN workflows to correctly source new purchased components from approved suppliers.
• Prepare and distribute RFQs, analyze quotes, select best total cost suppliers, and set up new parts in site ERP systems.
• Participate in identification, qualification, and development of new production suppliers.
• Participate in supplier meetings and occasional on-site supplier visits; limited overnight travel required.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute project plans under the direction of the SBM’s for implementation of on‑boarding new suppliers, resourcing parts, or other objectives, in close cooperation with plant Buyers/Planners.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with ESG Buyers/Planners, Engineering, Accounting, and suppliers; work effectively in teams as well as individually.
• Be comfortable taking directions from the SBM’s while also being self‑directed for certain objectives.
• Participate in supplier problem solving.
• Be fluent with contract terms and conditions and able to negotiate away unfavorable terms.
• Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field required.
• 5-7 years’ supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and represent the Company effectively and professionally in dealings with suppliers.
• Proficient with MS Office programs and ERP/MRP system experience required; specific experience with JDE/Oracle, Syteline, and Epicor systems preferred.
• Ability to work easily with people at all levels of the organization and establish collaborative relationships with peers.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, analytical, negotiating, follow‑through, and accuracy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: $75-90k
