- 4:30 p.m.

** Payrate:**  $20/hour

** Position Summary*
* The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through detailed analysis, physical counts, and discrepancy investigation. This role operates in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment and requires strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to support operational accuracy.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Monitor and respond to inventory-related emails and requests

+ Review and validate date codes and lot/lock codes

+ Research and resolve inventory variances, including PO discrepancies and aisle audits

+ Perform physical inventory counts and cycle counts as required

+ Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and document findings

+ Communicate issues and corrective actions to internal teams

+ Correct operational or system errors to ensure inventory accuracy

+ Maintain accurate records using inventory management systems and Excel

** Work Environment &

Physical Requirements *
* + Onsite warehouse/distribution environment

+ Intermittent lifting of up to  
** 80 lbs
** required

+ Steel-toe shoes required (additional PPE provided by USF)

+ Occasional overtime and weekend work available on a voluntary basis

** Required Qualifications (Must Have)*
* +  
** 1+ year of inventory control or related experience*
* + Prior experience working in a  
** warehouse or distribution environment*
* + Strong attention to detail with a high focus on accuracy

+ Proficiency in  
** Microsoft Excel**  (heavy use), Outlook, and Teams

+ Solid math and analytical skills

** Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)*

Experience with inventory or ERP systems such as  
** Tandem
* * or  
** Prism*
* + Finance or inventory reconciliation experience

+ Strong general computer and technology skills

+ Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes

* + High School Diploma or GED required
