Aurora, OH
Full-Time | Open to Direct Hire or Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $22-24 per hour DOE.
Schedule: Onsite to start (hybrid option available after training)
A growing organization inthe Aurora, OH area is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, is comfortable using SAP, and enjoys both transactional accounting and vendor interaction.
This opportunity can be structured as either direct hire or contract-to-hire, depending on experience and timing.
Key Responsibilities
- Process full-cycle Accounts Payable (invoice entry, matching, and payments)
- Support Accounts Receivable tasks, including cash applications and occasional collections follow-up
- Utilize SAP for daily AP/AR transactions and reporting
- Perform GR/IR reconciliations and assist with intercompany accounting
- Manage credit card reconciliation and reporting, including Excel pivot tables
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Maintain organized documentation and notes to support independent work
- Hands-on experience with SAP
- Experience supporting both AP and AR functions
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables
- Professional communication skills, especially with vendors
- Willingness to work onsite initially
- Experience in a moderate (non high-volume) AP/AR environment
- Exposure to intercompany accounting
- Ability to balance collaboration and independent work
- Interest in transitioning to a hybrid schedule after training
- Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Some schedule flexibility may be available after training
- Onsite to start; hybrid option (1-2 remote days/week) may be available after ~60 days
- Candidates should be within commuting distance to Aurora, OH
Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
