Lot And Inventory Specialist

Point of contact for all lot and inventory related issues and processes; responsible for new/used car inventory records and management; works closely with service and sales management to ensure inventory data is up to date and accurate; ensures proper presentation of vehicles and lot; assists employees with verifying vehicle status and availability; may have other duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic internal audits, research discrepancies, identify and correct deficiencies.
• Manage the replenishment process and analyze changes to inventory levels based on historical data and sales input.
• Implement processes to reduce inventory on-hand.
• Process incoming vehicles (new/used/trade-ins).
• Verify all units have proper stickers, labels, and plates.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Previous or current valet or porter experience.
• Automotive or inventory/warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• High-level organizational skills: ability to manage large volumes of information, data, and paperwork; be responsive to requests from management, other staff, etc.
• Ability to use inventory management systems, and other industry technology.
• High level attention to detail; able to perform quality-control.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to understand and follow all state and federal regulations, company policies and processes.
• Valid driver's license with driving record acceptable to the company.
