Supply Chain & Logistics Manager

We have been retained by our client, an industrial manufacturer, to assist in the search for a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager in the Streetsboro, OH area.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain and materials organization, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and opportunities for employee growth.
• Provide leadership across sourcing, procurement, materials management, inventory, warehousing, shipping, transportation, and related supply chain and logistics activities to support manufacturing and customer requirements.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including identifying, evaluating, qualifying, and onboarding suppliers strengthen the organization's overall supply base
• Lead supplier negotiations and commercial agreements to achieve appropriate cost, quality, delivery, service, and business terms.
• Drive improvements across procurement, materials, inventory, warehousing, shipping, logistics, and external processing activities using structured problem-solving, continuous improvement, and lean methodologies.

Key Requirements
:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams in supply chain, logistics, procurement, materials, shipping, or related fields
• Strong expertise in domestic and international sourcing, supplier development, supplier management, and negotiation
• Experience in chemical manufacturing processes or similar industries
