Job Description
  • Exemplifies the Berry Behaviors and Values at all times. Leads by example and exhibits professionalism in all areas when representing Berry inside and outside of the plant.
  • Embodies commitment for a safe workplace, and acts as a role model on safety leadership, activities, and communication
  • Interviewing and onboarding personnel
  • Data entry, payroll, time clock, security card entries
  • Filing - personnel, medical, training, meetings, I-9s
  • Staffing - temp to hire recruiting, works with approved agencies
  • HRIS System - new hire set up, status changes
  • Attendance tracking - monitor points, absence excuses, track warnings
  • Tracks performance reviews for timely completion
  • Training and development - works with HRM to assess needs and conduct training
  • Employee relations
  • Conducts investigations as needed
  • Conducts new hire orientation
  • Administer FMLA leaves
  • Benefit administration - provides employees with contact information, assists with benefit changes
  • Unemployment claim administration - files timely replies, attends hearings as needed
  • Maintains a positive working relationship with Group Leads and Supervisors
  • Perform any other duties as established by the Human Resource Manager
  • Responsibilities and Authority include assuring compliance with federal, state, government and/or any appropriate regulatory law or guidelines.
