Responsibilities- Provide coaching, support, training and direction to a team of Maintenance Technicians.
- Exemplifies the Amcor Values and Behaviors at all times. Leads by example and exhibits professionalism in all areas when representing Amcor inside and outside of the plant.
- Act as the point of contact for plant personnel for day to day maintenance issues.
- Verify PMs are being completed properly.
- Conduct shift turnover communication, to Group Lead and other Team Leads.
- Maintain maintenance work area and tools in clean orderly manner.
- Complete preventative maintenance checks and use computer software to enter, update, and close work orders.
- Order replacement parts and equipment as needed.
- Complete various paperwork including front line leader daily checklists in Group Lead s absence.
- Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines and accessory support equipment and direct the team in making repairs.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair.
- Verification of cleaning machine and surrounding area after repairs.
- Familiar with replacing belts, pulleys, cables, chains, bearings, gears and related equipment.
- Repairs, and rebuilds plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot problem machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.
- Understanding of the functionality of relays, motor contractors, motor starters, solid state relays, soft starts and variable frequency drives.
- Familiarity with operation and troubleshooting of PLCs.
- Read, interpret, and trouble shoot using schematic diagrams.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
