Entry Level Machine Operator
URGENT NEED FOR MACHINE SHOP--start next week. All shifts. Streetsboro.
General Duties- Set up and operate cutters, shears, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, and auxiliary machines.
- Knowledge of mics, calipers etc.
- Inspect work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces to determine accuracy of machine operation, using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments.
- Move controls or mount gears, cams, or templates in machines to set feed rates and cutting speeds, depths, and angles.
- Position, adjust, and secure stock material or work pieces against stops, on arbors, or in chucks, fixtures, or automatic feeding mechanisms, manually or using hoists.
- Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling or cleaning machines, dies, or work pieces, or adding coolant to machine reservoirs.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $17.00 Per Hour
