Responsibilities- Ability to immediately respond to equipment needs on a priority basis during manufacturing
- Clean, organize and maintain work area (inclusive of inventory and maintenance parts storage)
- Perform scheduled equipment checks and repairs
- Read and understand technical material, OEM manuals and schematics
- Use hand tools and measuring equipment
- Process necessary documentation
- Operate tow motor
- On-the-job training provided
- External qualifications required -
- Temporary associate must have ability to pass 5-panel drug screen, urine or saliva through the staffing company
- Three to five years industrial maintenance in two or more of the following fields:
- Mechanical – Tear down, rebuild and repair of various mechanical systems: forging presses, trim presses, cold saws, shears, shot blast machines, conveyors, cooling towers, 2 stage piston compressors, and other machines.
- Electrical – Installation, troubleshooting, and repair of various PLC driven systems as well as 480v 3 phase systems. Induction billet heating furnaces, press control systems, and other equipment for the forging industry.
- Hydraulic / pneumatic – Troubleshooting, repair and installation of various hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Welding – MIG and Stick/Electrode.
- Fabricating – Torch, plasma cutter, magnetic drill, Bridgeport operation, and various other tools used for fabricating. Design and build conveyors, chutes, diverters, and other equipment supporting the forging industry.
- Building Maintenance – Plumbing, lighting, roof fans, HVAC, overhead cranes (hydraulic and electrical), Jib cranes, Gantry cranes, and other maintenance.
