Location:
Streetsboro, Ohio
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime available
Pay: $20–$24/hour (based on experience)
Are you a precision-driven professional with a passion for grinding excellence? Join our team as a Blanchard Grinder and help us craft high-quality, large metal plates and components with accuracy and pride.
What You’ll Do:- Set up and operate Rotary Surface Blanchard Grinding Machines to remove material from large metal plates and components
- Grind ferrous and non-ferrous materials including steel, alloy, and stainless
- Load and position large/heavy work pieces using overhead crane or forklift
- Adjust feeds, speeds, and grinding wheels to meet specifications
- Monitor grinding process to maintain flatness, parallelism, and surface finish
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Deburr and finish parts as needed
- Maintain coolant levels, machine condition, and cleanliness of work area
- Read and interpret blueprints
