We are looking for an individual to start as soon as possible.

We offer weekly pay with overtime paying time and a half.

  • Move completed bundles from the end of the line by lifting, positioning, and removing them safely once packaging is complete.
  • Use plastic banding for the majority of packaging tasks, ensuring bands are applied correctly and securely.
  • Read and follow written work instructions for each job and communicate regularly with the team lead to clarify requirements and priorities.
  • Operate a stacker machine to load coils, build skids, and prepare material for packaging and shipment.
  • Use hand tools, including nail guns and staplers, to assemble skids and secure packaging materials.
  • Operate an overhead crane to move heavy steel bundles safely within the work area.
  • Operate a tow motor or forklift to transport materials and finished bundles as needed.
  • Collaborate with another packager and other production team members to meet daily production and shipping schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor packaging quality and report any issues with materials, equipment, or work instructions to the team lead.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in an industrial steel manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand on your feet for the entire 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. shift.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using hand tools such as nail guns, staplers, and similar equipment.
