GeneralJob Description
Schedulers are responsible for communicating across various departments and levels of management to organize and establish an accurate and effective production schedule. This position must be able to manage time, suggest improvements, and allocate resources.
Responsibilities- Scheduling
- Maintain production schedule and work with Operations to ensure on-time delivery
- Utilize ERP system to coordinate scheduling, maintenance, and materials
- Analyze and communicate capacity, resources, materials, lead times, and new projects
- Provide positive and effective leadership throughout all departments
- Create and maintain accuracy of part masters through the ERP system
- Staffing
- Provide feedback on staffing needs and labor allocation
- Ensure individual schedules are maintained and properly managed
- Work with Operations to create and maintain a training process for employees
- Quality Assurance
- Support the company quality policies and objectives
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform keyboarding, push/pull, and bending actions
