Saw & Shear Operator

We are seeking a skilled Saw & Shear Operator for our 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation, quality control, and light maintenance of production saw and shear machinery. You will also handle the receiving, inspection, cataloging, and transportation of engineered bars and billets used in the forging process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain production saw and shear machinery.
• Receive, inspect, catalog, and transport bundled engineered bars and cut billets.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization within the Saw/Shear department.
• Review work orders to determine daily material requirements.
• Complete production documentation and review setup sheets for instructions.
• Periodically weigh billet samples to verify correct weight.
• Operate a lift truck to manage billet inventory.

Requirements:

• Industrial saw operating experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience with machine operating in manufacturing
• Mechanically minded
• Forklift experience
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, and have good vision
