Material Handler
Kelly is hiring Packaging Associates on behalf of a highly reputable and established steel distribution and processing center that specializes in supplying and fabricating metals for a wide range of industrial clients across North America.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates interested in learning how to operate a tow motor and overhead crane.
$20.00 Per Hour
Hours:
Currently 6:00am-2:00pm Monday
-Friday Will be moving in the near future to Monday
-Thursday 6:00am-4:00pm
- Placing paper on metal blocks and steel products
- Banding products securely onto skids for safe shipment
- Using lifting aids and packaging equipment (max lifting without equipment is 50 lbs.)
- Cross-training and certification on tow motor (forklift) and overhead crane available after introductory period
- Prior experience in industrial/packaging/warehouse environments is a plus but not required
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. without aid
- Steel-toed shoes required
