We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for a direct hire position. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in CNC machining who value a four-day workweek, attractive compensation, and the chance to establish a stable career within an expanding manufacturing organization.

Shift Details and Onboarding

The standard schedule for this second shift position runs from Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Initial training will be conducted on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Core Responsibilities
  • Configure and run CNC equipment to meet manufacturing goals.
  • Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and production guidelines to guide your work.
  • Position materials and components accurately to facilitate efficient machining.
  • Perform necessary tool swaps and machine calibrations to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize precision instruments to confirm that parts align with required tolerances.
  • Verify finished components against quality standards to help maintain high production excellence.
  • Resolve routine production challenges to keep the workflow moving smoothly.
  • Document production and quality metrics with precision.
  • Help maintain a safe, tidy, and organized workspace for the entire team.
  • Adhere to all established safety and quality protocols.
Required Qualifications
  • Prior background working with CNC machinery.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in setting up and operating CNC equipment is preferred.
  • Capability to interpret blueprints and grasp complex measurements and tolerances.
  • Proficiency in utilizing micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement devices.
  • Strong mechanical inclination and a focus on precision.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to function effectively without constant supervision.
  • Flexibility to complete the initial training period on the first shift.
  • Requirement to wear steel-toe boots.
