Weekend Supervisor RN. Shift options: 11:00a–11:00p or 12:00p–12:00a. Pay: $38–$48 per hour.

• Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Assess and document residents’ conditions and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implement physicians’ orders.
• Assign nursing care to team members based on residents’ needs and staff capabilities.
• Supervise, direct, and evaluate LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments for assigned residents, documenting all treatments as required by company, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of the state-specified Nursing Practice Act.
• Ensure supplies are utilized economically and equipment is clean and maintained safely.
• Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
• Coordinate nursing care of residents scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
• Interview applicants, recommend hires, and participate in counseling, disciplinary action, and termination of staff as permitted by state practice act.
• Supervise the nursing unit, including scheduling and directing nursing staff as permitted by state practice act.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

• Communicates effectively with residents, family members, and all organizational levels.
• Responds decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Knowledgeable in training techniques for clinical staff.
• Maintains confidentiality.

• Starting wages: $38–$48 per hour.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Valid RN license in the employed state.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Preferred:
  Associates or higher in Nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
