Maintenance Technician

Cornerstone Building Brands - 10250 Philipp Pkwy - Responsibilities:
Advanced Equipment Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on manufacturing equipment;
Trouble-shoot PC/PLC controlled equipment, sensors, drives, and automated systems;
Utilize schematics and technical documentation to identify root causes of failures;
Respond quickly to production downtime to minimize operational disruptions;
Communicate with OEM technical support to speed up equipment repair;
Preventative & Predictive Maintenance:
Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment including welders, cutting systems, conveyors, and automated assembly equipment;
Identify early signs of equipment wear and proactively address potential failures;
Develop PM procedures and schedules for critical machinery;
Maintain detailed maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement;
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations;
Ensure equipment repairs meet safety and operational standards;
Support lockout/tagout procedures and safe maintenance practices;

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with production supervisors, engineers, and leadership to resolve equipment challenges;
Contribute ideas that enhance safety, reliability, and operational excellence
